Trail Designs Titanium Tent Stakes are new and improved. They now feature a tighter diameter top bend, with a more defined backbend, and less sheppard hook shape. These design improvements keep the Apex of the stake over the spine while giving you more striking area.  This results in a stake that is stronger, drives straighter, has less bounce back, and more holding power.  And to make sure they are the best titanium stakes made, they are now using a 25% higher tensile strength work-hardened Grade-5 Titanium.   This material has the hightest strength to weight ratio of any metal on earth.  This means you get more strength for less weight.  Trail Designs tent stakes strike the perfect balance between low weight and functionality.  They measure 6.5" long, weigh .28oz (8.1 grams), and are made from .125" (3.17mm) diameter titanium rod which means they are thicker, stronger, and hold better than other "ultralight" stakes on the market.  

Many tent and tarp setups require a minimum of 6 stakes (4 corners and 2 guy lines) 2 vestibule stakes are an option.
